Case Reports
Case reports are increasingly seen as an excellent educational tool, often providing some experience in previously difficult to manage cases. Well written case reports can be interesting to read, can provide useful learning points, and often highlight the lesser known areas of our speciality.
We encourage all members to submit case reports to SETPRAS. Our aim is to publish case reports of a novel, interesting nature with at least one clear learning point. Preference will also be given to those with figures, although we request authors refer to our guidelines regarding anonymity and removal of patient identifying materials
Once submitted, all case reports are peer-reviewed and the editing body may request alterations to the article prior to publication. All authors may reference their publications on this site and if required, SETPRAS may provide certificates of authorship and publication for all successful articles
Below is a template containing an example report and guidelines for writing, we strongly advise all authors to follow the stated word limits
As the number of reports increases, we will not only publish chronologically, but also by specific categories and they will be listed below once required
